Our private rooms have everything you need to throw the best holiday party in San Antonio. We have private and semi-private rooms. Our Cactus and Agave Rooms are private rooms with their own private bars, but can be combined into one large space. The Cactus Room seats up to 48 people and the Agave Room seats up to 72 people. When combined the room seats up to 120 people or 168 cocktail-style. The space comes with a 70″ flat screen TV with HDMI inputs, DVD player, and wireless microphone.

The upper dining is a great space for smaller holiday parties. It is semi-private and has floor to ceiling windows that look out to the patio and River Walk. The view is incredible! If you are having a huge holiday party with all your friends and family, then rent the entire restaurant! You can seat up to 500 people and there are 3 private bars. We are conveniently located in downtown Austin at the corner of famous 6th Street and Trinity Street. Come enjoy discounted small house margaritas and chile con queso on weekdays. What’s a happy hour without a frozen margarita? Our house margarita is made with Torada Silver Tequila and Triple Sec. You and your friends will be fighting over who gets the last bite of the chile con queso. This cheesy goodness has hatch green chiles, pico de gallo, and roasted jalapenos. It is delicious!

Iron Cactus is the perfect place for your private events in Austin. We can handle all sorts of private events at Iron Cactus: wedding rehearsal dinners, graduation parties, corporate events, and birthday parties – you name it! We have options for private dining and semi-private dining.

There are four different event spaces at Iron Cactus to choose from for your next event. The Cactus Room is a unique space with a private room and private bar. This room can seat up to 90 people or 120 people cocktail style. If you need a room for a smaller event, the 2^nd floor mezzanine is perfect for you. The space overlooks the main dining room and is semiprivate and can seat up to 40 people.

Rent the Iron Cactus rooftop patio and enjoy the 6^th street atmosphere and view. The patio can be semiprivate or private whichever you prefer for your event and can seat up to 150 people or 250 people cocktail style. The tables are set with white tablecloths and black napkins. The celebration continues no matter the weather; the patio has fan-driven misters, heaters, and windscreens.

What’s better than Sunday brunch on the River Walk? Iron Cactus serves à la carte brunch from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm so no need to get up super early. Enjoy one of our delicious entrees and brunch cocktails while enjoying the views of the San Antonio River Walk. Our River Walk location and beautiful outdoor patio make Iron Cactus an amazing place for Brunch with your friends and family.

You can’t do brunch without a mimosa! You can get up to three $1 mimosa refills. What a great deal! We offer other classic brunch drinks like a Bloody Mary and Mexican Coffee. Mexican Coffee is the ultimate sweet hot drink. The perfect combination of freshly brewed coffee, Blanco Tequila, agave, cinnamon, and topped with fresh crème. Iron Cactus is a great spot to grab a drink and some chile con queso. There are great views from the patio and inside the restaurant! The upper dining area has floor to ceiling windows that look out to the patio and river. Enjoy the lively atmosphere of the River Walk but still have a bit of privacy. You need to try one of our specialty items such as Stuffed Avocado, Pescado Del Mar, and Southwest Paella. The Stuffed Avocado features smoked chicken, blended cheeses, verde sauce, Mexican rice, and your choice of beans.

Our drink menu has an option for everyone! Choose from a variety of specialty cocktails, tequila flights, wine, and beer. Cantarito is a San Antonio cactus exclusive drink with El Jimador Reposado, fresh lime, orange, and Topo Sabores Grapefruit. It also comes in a souvenir cup! Another cactus exclusive drink is the Iron Cactus Double Barrel made with Herradura Double Barrel Reposado, Cointreau, fresh lime, and agave.
