At the heart of Iron Cactus's community giving is a long-running partnership with Marbridge, a nonprofit residential community just south of Austin that provides transitional and lifetime care to adults with a wide range of cognitive abilities. Marbridge's mission is to help its residents learn, experience and live full, meaningful lives — and Iron Cactus has been a committed partner for years.
The centerpiece of the relationship is our annual Iron Cactus Open golf tournament at Grey Rock Golf Club, which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Marbridge. Those funds helped build the Victory Hall Athletic and Events Center, a gymnasium on the Marbridge campus that residents themselves named — a permanent symbol of what our community, guests and sponsors can accomplish together.
Every entry, sponsorship and donation continues to expand what Marbridge can offer the adults it serves.
