Private Events in Austin

Iron Cactus is the perfect place for your private events in Austin. We can handle all sorts of private events at Iron Cactus: wedding rehearsal dinners, graduation parties, corporate events, and birthday parties – you name it! We have options for private dining and semi-private dining.

There are four different event spaces at Iron Cactus to choose from for your next event. The Cactus Room is a unique space with a private room and private bar. This room can seat up to 90 people or 120 people cocktail style. If you need a room for a smaller event, the 2^nd floor mezzanine is perfect for you. The space overlooks the main dining room and is semiprivate and can seat up to 40 people.

Rent the Iron Cactus rooftop patio and enjoy the 6^th street atmosphere and view. The patio can be semiprivate or private whichever you prefer for your event and can seat up to 150 people or 250 people cocktail style. The tables are set with white tablecloths and black napkins. The celebration continues no matter the weather; the patio has fan-driven misters, heaters, and windscreens.

Brunch on the River Walk

What’s better than Sunday brunch on the River Walk? Iron Cactus serves à la carte brunch from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm so no need to get up super early. Enjoy one of our delicious entrees and brunch cocktails while enjoying the views of the San Antonio River Walk. Our River Walk location and beautiful outdoor patio make Iron Cactus an amazing place for Brunch with your friends and family.

You can’t do brunch without a mimosa! You can get up to three $1 mimosa refills. What a great deal! We offer other classic brunch drinks like a Bloody Mary and Mexican Coffee. Mexican Coffee is the ultimate sweet hot drink. The perfect combination of freshly brewed coffee, Blanco Tequila, agave, cinnamon, and topped with fresh crème. Or try one of our more unique drinks like a Ginger Beer Margarita or Tequila Sunrise Mimosa. Our Ginger Beer Margarita features Blanco Tequila, Triple Sec, ginger beer, and lime juice. It goes great with any Mexican dish!

Are you craving something sweet or savory for brunch on the San Antonio River Walk? The Iron Cactus brunch menu has options for both! If you want something sweet go with the Belgian waffles or pancakes. Both are served with bacon or sausage and a fresh fruit cup. When visiting the San Antonio River Walk, you must go to the best of the best! Iron Cactus has been voted Best of the River Walk for the last 6 years running. We have a delicious contemporary Mexican menu, offer over 100 premium tequilas, and a beautiful patio overlooking the River Walk. Iron Cactus is a great spot to grab a drink and some chile con queso. There are great views from the patio and inside the restaurant! The upper dining area has floor to ceiling windows that look out to the patio and river. Enjoy the lively atmosphere of the River Walk but still have a bit of privacy. You need to try one of our specialty items such as Stuffed Avocado, Pescado Del Mar, and Southwest Paella. The Stuffed Avocado features smoked chicken, blended cheeses, verde sauce, Mexican rice, and your choice of beans.

Looking for the perfect place to host your birthday party, corporate event, or wedding rehearsal dinner? Iron Cactus has the private event rooms in San Antonio for your next event! Iron Cactus offers 3 different, unique spaces for private and semi-private parties.

The Cactus Room and Agave Room offer a similar overall theme as the Mexican restaurant and can be used together or separately. Cactus Room seats up to 48 people and the Agave Room serves up to 72 people. These two rooms combined, serve 120 people or 168 cocktail style. These private event rooms in San Antonio include a private bar, white tablecloth and black napkins, a wireless microphone, and 70-inch flatscreen TV with HDMI inputs.

If you are looking for something more casual for your event, the upper dining area is an amazing choice. This area is semi-private and has windows that look to the patio and River Walk so you can still enjoy the lively atmosphere. The upper dining area seats up to 40 people or 70 people cocktail style.
